    How to convert images

    1. Drop one or more images. JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP and SVG files can be read.
    2. Choose the target format: PNG, JPG, WebP or AVIF. Formats your browser cannot create are disabled.
    3. Set the quality for JPG, WebP and AVIF. When converting to JPG, choose the color that fills transparent areas.
    4. Download each file or all of them as a ZIP.

    Which format should I use?

    • WebP: the best default for the web. Small files, transparency and wide browser support.
    • AVIF: even smaller for photos, but slower to encode and not supported by every tool yet.
    • JPG: universal for photos, but no transparency.
    • PNG: lossless, ideal for logos, icons, screenshots and anything you will edit again.

    Converting an SVG produces a raster image at the SVG's intrinsic size. GIF animations are converted from their first frame. To reduce file size further, try the image compressor.

    All processing happens in your browser. Your images are never uploaded to a server, so the tool works with private photos and keeps working offline once the page has loaded.
